Why stretching before exercise is bad
If you stretch before exercise to gain strength and power, don't. It doesn't work. Your muscles become longer, but your power will decrease. All according to doctor Michael Mosley. See the BBC video clip in the link below.

I definitely think people tend to generally mix up the difference between warming up your muscles before exercise vs stretching muscles before. Warm-up exercises and activation exercises are important prior whereas stretching has its importance post exercise. 🙂🙂
